Melody is married to Lt. Colonel Bruce Stalk, U.S. Air Force, Retired.  Both Melody and Bruce retired a second time on August 1, 2015.  They are now official Social Security and Medicare recipients.

Melody and Bruce have spent time traveling in the last few years.  They are hooked on cruising and have traveled to many countries in the Caribbean and overseas including Russia.  Melody has also visited her extended family in Denmark, 3 times.

Their growing family includes Melody’s 3 daughters; 1 step-daughter; 4 sons-in-laws; 6 grandsons, Trenton, Ryder, David, Landon, Grayson, and Brannan; and 2 granddaughters, Rylie and Katrine.

Bruce and Melody started a Christian Ministry named “Dorlinda Retreat Ministry.”  The ministry provides visiting missionaries/pastors and their families the use of their guest house for a reasonable small donation. The ministry started in Jan. 2017 and to date they have had missionaries and pastors visits from 5 out of the 7 continents (No one yet from Antarctica or
Australia), as well as local and out of state pastors. 

Bruce and Melody still love living on their acreage with a view of Mt. Rainier from their back porch.  They always look forward to having family and friends come to visit and relax. They also welcome their classmates who are out visiting/traveling in Washington State to drop by and say Hello
