Dave was married to classmate Margaret Amlong. They have 2 children, Terra (1981) and David (1985) from his first wife, Diane. 

Dave was a longtime loyal employee of Swederski Concrete. He was also an avid Bears fan.

Dave was born October 24th, 1952 in Waukegan and passed away in Woodstock after a short illness on  August 22nd, 2018.
