Doug Lombardo

Doug moved away after his junior year at Grant. Doug currently resides in Wadsworth, IL with his lovely wife Kathy (married in 1971) and they have two children, Jennifer and Michael. During and immediately after high school, Doug worked for Jewel Food Stores. He then did a brief 2-1/2 year stint at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company (hose plant) in North Chicago before he broke through the barriers in the heating and cooling industry. 

After employment by Kern, Bishop, and Galiger Heating, where he rose through the ranks to service manager, Doug felt he knew it all. So after much discussion with his wife Kathy, in 1975, Lombardo's Heating & Cooling was founded. His son Michael was also born that year and continues to be an integral part of the company.

In his free time, Doug collects and restores old Mopar muscle cars and is an avid NASCAR fan. He also promotes the adoption of retired Greyhounds as pets.
