Rhonda Dahl (Kabot)
Rhonda and her husband, John, were married 9-6-69. With a lot of help from God,
they are still together. They live Grants Pass, OR. They were blessed with a daughter, Melanie (9-9-70) and
a son, John (1-18-72). Through them they have seven wonderful grandchildren, 5 girls
and 2 boys.
Rhonda started doing bookkeeping her junior year of high school for Fox Lake
Lumber. She continued this mind numbing livelihood and added income tax services
in 1979. In 1985 she passed the special enrolled agent exam and became licensed by
the U.S. Treasury Dept. to represent clients in tax matters before the IRS. In 1995,
she became a life agent and securities licensed as well as a notary public in order to
offer full financial services to her clients. John joined her as partner in Higher
Ground Financial Services and is a licensed stock broker and life agent as well as an
enrolled agent.
Her passion is endurance riding and cross country horse trekking. Her youngest
granddaughter likes to say, “There’s nothing I’d rather do than sit and look at
horses.” Grammy always says, “Not me! I’d rather be riding!”
